South America

Country – Argentina
The country is the fifth largest wine producer in the world, with some of the highest elevation vineyards in the world, imparting unique flavours and tannins to the grapes grown. The most famous Argentinian specialities are Salta`s Torrontes, Mendoza`s Malbec, and Bonarda Syrah blends; other famous varietals being Chardonnay, Viognier, Tannat, and Verdelo.  Though rich and luscious in quality, these Argentinian wines have only recently hit the limelight in international markets. Glamorous names such as Moet Chandon, Kendall Jackson and Pernod Ricard have all invested in the Argentinian wine industry.

Country – Chile
Nestling between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes mountain range, Chile`s sun drenched vineyards lie between latitudes 32 and 38 degrees south, in the most perfect wine growing climate.  Though the wine growing  industry is over four hundred years old, Chile`s excellent wines were only recently presented to the international market. With over 20,000 cultivated acres, the Maipo region, Colchaagua, Casablanca, Rapel and the Elqui Valley are all justifiably famous for their excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Carmenere, and Chardonnay as the world is just discovering.
